The first event of the 2010 season was for the
Arthur Jackson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap
at Mottram Hall Golf Club.
As usual our new Captain, Andy Millington, performed the Captain's Drive.
The majestic drive travelled 225 yards and the winner of the "guess the distance" was Karl Hendrix.
The overall winner was Andy Millington
with 37 points off a reduced handicap of 18, to be reduced further for the next
event.
The division split was at 19, and the winner of Division 1
was Andy Kelson, and Division 2 was won by Kay Lees playing in her
first event. Congratulations to them on being awarded a 1 shot cut in handicap.
There were 2 twos: Tim Spencer (7th)
and Ian Booth (11th) .
