Grange Park - 30th April 2015

The first event of the 2015 season was for the Arthur Jackson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Grange Park Golf Club. The weather was acceptable and most people enjoyed the course. A number of players passed very favourable comments about the course, but the catering proved to be a great disappointment.

	Captain's drive Brendon Poynts is our captain for 2015. He was somewhat disappointed with his drive which only measured 201 yards. The winning guess came from Tim Spencer.

Winners

	Overall winner The overall winner was Andy Benn with 34 points. Andy was playing off 19 this being a one stroke reduction on his society handicap. Well done Andy.

Division 1 The division split was at 18, and the winner of Division 1 was Anthony Orrell with 33 points off a handicap of 13. Andy Millington also had 33 points but had a worse back 9.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by Mark Saxon with 30 points playing off 19.

Twos
There were no twos so the pot rolls forward to the next event.

Plate Trophy 2014
	Peter Holmes won the plate competition for 2014.

Special Prize For Sartorial Elegance
For his year as captain Brendon has decided to give special prizes at the events. The prize for sartorial elegance on the golf course goes to Mario Capostagno.
