Rohdale - 26th April 2023

The first event of the 2023 season was for the Arthur Jackson Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Rochdale Golf Club. Rochdale was chosen because that was the venue for the last qualifying event of 2022, and the competition had to be cut short at 9 holes because the course was waterlogged. Fortunately the weather was kinder to us this time and we managed to complete the competition and remain dry.

Overall winner
The overall winner was Lyndon Woods, with 39 points off a playing handicap of 35.

Division 1 Division 1 turned out to be a 3 card play off on 32 points, in which Brendon Poynts won with the better back 6 over Steve Marshall. Tim Spencer was eliminated because the other 2 had a better back 9.		Division 2 The division split was at 23, and the winner of Division 2 was Tim Whitehead, with 33 points off a playing handicap reduced by 2 to 28.
