The second event of 2011 was for the President's Trophy played at Sutton Hall Golf Club.
The day proved to be very testing,
and before play started there were gale force
winds and torrential rain. Fortunately the rain subsided, and when the
competition got under way we only had the wind to contend with. Despite the
weather there were some remarkably acceptable scores

Overall winner
The overall winner was Nigel Harris with a respectable 36 points off a handicap of 17.
He beat Gareth Perry on a card play off and now has to face the rest of the season with a handicap reduction.

Division 1 winner
Division 1 was won by Gareth Perry with 36 points off a reduced handicap of 16. |

Division 2 winner
Mike Hughes won the Division 2 prize having been reduced to 18 after the
Gorstyhill event. |

Twos
There were 2 twos Gareth Perry (4th)
and Tim Spencer (16th).
