Chorlton-cum-Hardy - 9th June 2011
The third event of the 2011 season was for the
TT Jackson Trophy played over 18 holes
stableford off full handicap at Chorlton-cum-Hardy Golf Club.
The morning players had some heavy rain to contend
with, and at one stage the course was in serious danger of being unfit for play.
However the rain subsided after a few holes, and the early starters completed the rest of the 12 holes in
glorious sunshine. Good weather was enjoyed by all who played in the afternoon.

Overall winner
The overall winner on a card play off with 37
points was Peter Walters. Peter pipped Brendon with 21 points
on the back 9 compared to Brendon's 19.
He is definitely the man to watch this season with only 3 order of merit points from
the two events he has entered.

Division 1 winner
The division split was at 17, and the winner of Division 1
was Brendon Poynts with 37 points off a handicap of 10.

Division 2 winner
The Division 2 winner was Mario Capostagno with a
creditable 36 points off a handicap of 22.

Twos
There were 6 twos with Mr Captain
claiming two of them. The other people lucky enough to pick up balls were
Andy Kelson, Hamish MacKay, Brendon Poynts and Ray Dowson.
