Blackley - 27th June 2019

The third event of the 2019 season was for the TT Jackson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Blackley Golf Club. It was a pleasant warm sunny afternoon with just a slight breeze. The course had one or two nasty water hazards for those not familiar with it, and there were not many high scores. There were 20 people taking part including 3 guests.

Winners

	Overall winner The overall winner was Tim Spencer with 34 points off a handicap of 17.

Division 1 The division split was at 19, and the winner of Division 1 was Steve Marshall with 33 points off a reduced handicap of 2. Unfortunately for Steve he will lose a further shot at the next event.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by Paul MacDonald with 29 points off a handicap of 20.

Guest Winner

There were three guests, and the prize for the best guest score was won by ex-society member Derek Parker who managed a respectable 33 points off a handicap of 16.

Nearest The Pin

The winner of the nearest the pin at the 13th was Andy Gracie. I was alongside Steve Marshall when he put his shot a short distance from the pin, and was amazed to find that it had been beaten.

Twos
There were twos for Brendon Poynts at the 4th, and Steve Marshall at the 13th.
