Crewe - 20th July 2021
The fourth event of the 2021 season was for the
Captain's Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Crewe Golf Club. The weather was sunny and hot with very little wind, but a number of people found the conditions exhausting.

Overall winner
Building on his success from the last event the overall winner was
Mark Saxon. He was carrying an extra 2 points penalty at this competition, and his handicap was reduced by 3 to 22. Despite this he managed a very creditable 37 points.

Division 1
The division split was at 24, and the winner of Division 1
was Steve Marshall, with 34 points playing off 4. This is the first event for a while where Steve has not had any penalties. Unfortunately he can now look forward to another 1 shot penalty at the next event.

Division 2
Division 2 was won by Jill Tasker with a playing handcap off 44. Jill had 35 points, and won by virtue of a card play off against Paul MacDonald.
