Mossock Hall - 6th July 2023
The fourth event of the 2023 season was for the
Dave Johnson Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Mossock Hall Golf Club. We would normally have played for The Captain's Trophy at this time but Barry was unavailable. The Dave Johnson Trophy was moved forward and The Captain's Trophy becomes the following event.
Mossock Hall was very flat, the course was dry, and the ball was rolling for considerable distances. Conditions for the day were pleasant and it remained dry until late on.

Overall winner
Lyndon Woods was the overall winner with 37 points off a playing handicap of 39.

Division 1
The division split was at 23, and the winner of Division 1
was Hamish MacKay, with 34 points playing off 15. Hamish beat Nigel Ghani by virtue of a better back 6.

|
Division 2
Division 2 was won by Tim Spencer with 36 points off a playing handcap of 27. This was also a card playoff decided on the back 6, with Tim just pipping Ian Mills. Unfortunately Tim had to leave before the presentations.
