Hazel Grove - 30th August 2018

The fifth event of the 2018 season was for the Dave Johnson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Hazel Grove Golf Club. There were 19 society players competing for the trophy, plus three guests.

	Overall winner Hamish MacKay was the overall winner with an extraordinary score of 44 points playing offf a handicap reduced by three shots to 12. Not only did he win the competition but he also had a hole in one on the second hole.


Division 1 The division split was at 18, and the winner of Division 1 was Brendon Poynts with 38 points off a handicap reduced by two shots to 9.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by Lady Captain with 36 points off a reduced handicap of 33.

Nigel Harris won both nearest the pin competitions.

Twos

There were twos for Guest Chris Lawson and Brendon Poynts at the 11th, and Andy Benn at the 2nd.
