Cavendish - 27th July 2023

The fifth event of the 2023 season was for the Captain's Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Cavendish Golf Club. There had been a lot of rain the previous night and as a result buggies were not allowed on the course. Unfortunately this resulted in a couple of people not being able to play.

Overall winner
Tim Spencer was the overall winner with 35 points off a playing handicap of 25.

Division 1 The division split was at 24, and the winner of Division 1 was Paul Higgs, with 32 points playing off 11.Another steady round from Paul with 16 points on each 9, and no blobs.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by Lyndon Woods with 32 points off a playing handcap of 33. This puts Lyndon in an unassailable position for the order of merit with 2 wins, a divisional prize, and a card playoff 2nd place for division 2 from 5 events.

Twos
There were twos for Nigel Ghani at the 17th and Tom Coffey at the 15th.

2022 Plate Winner
Somewhat belatedly The Plate Trophy was available for presentation. Gareth Perry was the winner for 2022.
