Division 1
The Division 1 split was at 17 and
as with the last event there were two players in contention. This was the battle
of the Tims. Both Tim
Whitehead and Tim Spencer had 34 points. They had identical scores
with 14 points out and 20 back. The result was decided on the back 6. Tim Whitehead
was the winner with a back 6 of 16 points.

Division 2
Jill Tasker was the Division 2 winner with a commendable 35 points off 27
handicap. For a while Jill was the leader in the clubhouse, and it looked like
she was going to be first woman to be overall winner. In the 24 years I've been
with the society we haven't had a female winner. Well Done Jill!!!!
