Bury - 25th September 2014

This competition was for the final event of the season, The Peter MurphyTrophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Bury Golf Club. This event is open to all ICL employees not just society members.There are no society handicap reductions for this event, and everyone plays off their full club handicap. The Peter Murphy Trophy does not count towards the Order of Merit.

I'm afraid I didn't manage to get to the event and as a result we have no photos and the information I have is a little sketchy.

Winners

The overall winner at the event was John Flaherty. However the Peter Murphy competition is only open to ICL/Fujitsu employees and pensioners. The winner of the trophy was Peter Walters.

There were 2 second division prizes. This was decided on a card playoff with Mark Saxon taking the first prize and Peter Holmes taking the second.
