The first event of the 2024 season was for the President's Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Leigh Golf Club. The original first event was postponed because of a waterlogged course at Manchester Golf Club. There were 15 participants because Ian Mills was confused expecting the event to be on Thursday and not Tuesday.

Winners

Overall winner
The overall winner was Mark Saxon, with 35 points off a handicap index of 21.8 and playing handicap of 24. He is proving to be quite a consistent performer, having won the last event of 2024. This is the first time for a while that Mark has not had a society reduction. Unfortunately he can now look forward to carrrying a 2 shot reduction for the next year.

Division 1 The division split was at 18 and Division 1 was won by another consistent performer Nigel Ghani. He was already on a 4 shot reduction for winning 2 events last year and he was playing off 11 for this competition.		Division 2 The winner of Division 2 was Andy Gracie, with 31 points off a playing handicap reduced by 1 to 59.
