Whitefield - 29th June 2017
The third event of the 2017 season was for the TT Jackson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at
Whitefield Golf Club. The weather was not very promising at the start with a
continuous slight drizzle. Things did improve later and it remained dry for the
rest of the day. There was a field of 23 players all of whom were society
members.

Overall winner
The overall winner was
Steve Marshall with 38 points playing off a handicap of 5. Steve has been
very consistent so far this season and it was no surprise to see him win this
event. He will find it a little more challenging at Saddleworth when he suffers
a two stroke reduction.

Division 1
The division split was at 18, and the winner of Division 1
was Brendon Poynts with 36 points off a handicap of 13.

Division 2
Division 2 was won by
Mario Capostagno
with 33 points off a handicap of 23. He pipped Mr Captain on a card play
off.
