Heaton Moor - 26th July 2018

The 4th event of the season was for the Captain's Trophy which this year was played at Heaton Moor. There were 17 society members and two guests playing. It was a rather hot sunny afternoon, and Jill ensured that there were plenty of refeshments on the 10th tee. Unfortunately Jill was unable to complete the round and she retired after the 8th hole.

Overall winner
The overall winner was Peter Wharton with 38 points off a handicap of 22.


Division 1 The division split was at 18, and the winner of Division 1 was Brendon Poynts with 34 points off a reduced handicap of 11.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by George Maddison with 37 points off a reduced handicap of 27.

Longest Drive
The longest drive was won by Gareth Perry.
Nearest the pin
Steve Marshall won the nearest the pin competition.

Twos

There were twos for Guest Chris Lawson at the second, and Paul Higgs and Brendon Poynts at the fourth.
