Chorley - 3rd July 2025
The fourth event of the 2025 season was for the
Captains Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Chorley Golf Club. The weather was very good being sunny and warm, there were threats of storms but they passed us by.
We had a magnificent turn of 23 for Lyndon's Captains Day.
There was a putting competition prior to the bacon sandwiches, this was won by Mark Saxon.
The Captain was VERY generous with his gifts and prizes on the day. A fun day was had by all.

Overall winner
Mark Saxon was the overall winner with 41 points off a playing handicap of 22.

Division 1
The division split was at 23, and the winner of Division 1
was Nigel Ghani, with 40 points playing off 12.

Division 2
Division 2 was won by Barry Pendlebury with 35 points off a playing handcap of 27.
