Swinton Park - 26th August 2014

The fifth event of the 2014 season was for the Dave Johnson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Swinton Park Golf Club. We enjoyed yet another glorious afternoon for golf. The weather was sunny but slightly cooler than normal for the time of year which made for very good playing conditions.

Winners

	Overall winner The overall winner was George Maddison with 36 points off a reduced handicap of 26. It was a close call which was decided by a card play off over the last 6 holes.

Division 1 The division split was at 17, and the winner of Division 1 was Peter Walters with 36 points off a handicap of 13. Peter had a magnificent start to his round with 8 points after 2 holes. He went out in 20 the same as George.		Division 2 Division 2 was won by Vince Murray with 34 points off a handicap of 25.


Twos There were three twos with £15 each going to Mario Capostagno, Mike Budd and John Popplewell.
