The fifth event of the 2018 season was for the Dave Johnson Trophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Bury Golf Club. There were 16 society players competing for the trophy.
Overall winner Nigel Harris was the overall winner with a score of 35 points playing offf a handicap reduced by two shots to 12.
Division 1 The division split was at 20, and the winner of Division 1 was Barry Pendlebury with 32 points off a handicap reduced by two shots to 19.
Division 2 Division 2 was won by Ray Dowson with 30 points off a reduced handicap of 22.

Guest Chris Lawson won the nearest the pin competition.
