Rochdale - 22nd August 2022
The sixth event of the 2022 season was for the
Guy Ferguson Johnson Trophy, an 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Rochdale Golf Club. Unfortunately the weather was pretty rotten, and it rained continually whilst we were playing the first 12 holes. At this point greens were becoming waterlogged and unplayable and a decision was taken to limit the competition to the first 9 holes. Most of the attendees decided to return to the clubhouse and wait for their meal.
