The final event of the society calendar
was the Peter Murphy Memorial Trophy. This year the event was played at Hawkstone Park Golf Club.
The winner was Nigel Harris with 37 points off a handicap of 17.
The Division 1 split was at 17 and the winner was Andy Kelson with 36 points off
a handicap of 15 having pipped Tim Spencer with a better back 9.
Division 2 was won by Gareth Perry with 36 points off 18 handicap.
There were runners up prizes for each of the divisons. Tim Spencer was the Division
1 runner up with 36 points off 13 handicap, and Pete Holmes was Division 2 runner
up with 33 points off 25 handicap.
The longest drive was on the 18th hole, and was won by Gareth Perry.
Nearest the pin on the 12th was won by Tim Whitehead.
There was one 2 by Gareth Perry on the 9th.
