Huyton and Prescott - 30th September 2015

This competition was for the final event of the season, The Peter MurphyTrophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Huyton and Prescott Golf Club. This event is open to all ICL employees not just society members.There are no society handicap reductions for this event, and everyone plays off their full club handicap. The Peter Murphy Trophy does not count towards the Order of Merit. There were only 18 players taking part, but those that did were lucky enough to have fine weather, and to play on a course in fine condition with very fast greens.

Winners

		Overall winner The overall winner was Paul Higgs with a very good 38 points off a handicap of 12. Paul started very well by getting a par on each of the first 4 holes. He fell away somewhat for the rest of the first 9, but recovered well to score 20 points on the back 9.

Division 1 winner The division split was at 16, and the winner of Division 1 was Martin Rees with 28 points off a handicap of 13.		Division 1 second place The Division 1 second place was won by Tim Whitehead with 27 points off 16 handicap.
	Division 2 winner Andy Benn started the year well by winning the first event with 34 points. The same score secured the Division 2 prize at this event off a handicap of 20.		Division 2 second place The Divison 2 second place was won by Tim Spencer. with 32 points off a handicap of 19.

Nearest the pin at the 11th.
The nearest the pin winner at the 11th was Brendon Poynts. He didn't get a two, but this was the highlight of his round having only acquired one other two point hole in the round.

Nearest the pin at the 18th.
The nearest the pin winner at the 18th was Mike Budd.
