Ellesmere - 27th September 2016

The final event for the season was The Peter MurphyTrophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Disley Golf Club. This event is open to all ICL employees not just society members.There are no society handicap reductions for this event, and everyone plays off their full club handicap. The Peter Murphy Trophy does not count towards the Order of Merit. There were only 19 players taking part on a sunny afternoon although the ground was a little soft.

Winners

		Overall winner The overall winner was Nigel Harris with 34 points off a handicap of 14. He just pipped Paul Higgs on a card play off, with a back 9 of 18 points to Paul's 16.

Division 1 winner The division split was at 20, and the winner of Division 1 was Paul Higgs with 30 points off a handicap of 12.		Division 1 second place The Division 1 second place was won by Tim Spencer with 32 points off 19 handicap.
	Division 2 winner Pete Holmes won Division 2 on a card play off with 29 points off a handicap of 25.		Division 2 second place The Divison 2 second place was won by Jill Tasker. with 29 points off a handicap of 31.

Special Prizes

Division 1 lowest score. Lowest score in Division 1 was Gareth Perry.		Division 2 lowest score. Lowest score in Division 2 was Andy Gracie.

		Most travelled Mr Captain awarded a special prize to Jill Tasker in recognition of the dedication she shows in travelling so far to attend the society events.
