Disley - 26th September 2017

The final event for the season was The Peter MurphyTrophy played over 18 holes stableford off full handicap at Disley Golf Club. This event is open to all ICL employees not just society members.There are no society handicap reductions for this event, and everyone plays off their full club handicap. The Peter Murphy Trophy does not count towards the Order of Merit. There were 19 players taking part on a lovely sunny afternoon, although the ground was a little soft.

 

Winners

  Norman Jamison - Winner Overall winner
The overall winner was Norman Jamison  with 38 points off a handicap of 9. He had an extraordinary card with 4 birdies and 2 blobs. The card included two runs were he managed consecutive 3 pointers on 3 holes, one on the front nine and one on the back.		  
       
       
Division 1 winner
The division split was at 19, and the winner of Division 1 was Hamish MacKay with 36 points off a handicap of 16. 		Hamish MacKay - Division 1 winner Division 1 second place
The Division 1 second place was won by John Flaherty with 32 points off a 16 handicap. He pipped Brendon Poynts on a card play off. 		John Flaherty- Division 1 second
       
George Maddison - Division 2 winner Division 2 winner
George Maddison won Division 2 on a card play off with 31 points off a handicap of 28. 		Andy Benn - Divison 2 second Division 2 second place
The Divison 2 second place was won by Andy Benn with 31 points off a handicap of 20.
